Ithaca Freeskool’s Men’s Anti-Sexist Discussion Group (social detox) will be hosting a discussion on “Men becoming better allies to sexual assault survivors”. This is an opportunity to address sexual assault and how it’s being dealt with (or not being dealt with). This event is open to male identified folks only. This is a potluck discussion, so please bring food.
Here are some questions we will ask;
- How can men be better allies to survivors?
- How can men be helpful to male survivors?
- What models are available for holding perpetrators accountable?
- What is consent?
- What would you do if a current (or ex-) partner called you out for sexual assault?
